Critical Thinking: The Foundation for Well-Formed Arguments
This session, centered on CCR Writing Standard 1, will lead teachers through the critical thinking building blocks needed to prepare students to develop well-formed arguments.

Rebecca Woosley is currently at KDE serving as a Teacher Effectiveness coach and a member of the Integrated Design Team developing the Teacher and Principal Effectiveness frameworks for Kentucky. Before becoming an effectiveness coach she was a literacy consultant for KDE and author/editor of the literacy newsletter Kentucky Literacy Link for two years. Prior to her work at KDE, she taught English in Scott County and served at a literacy consultant at Scott County High School for eleven years.
